Judy Wilder Abstract Impressionist



Judy Wilder-Dalton

Judy paints with oil, watercolor and pastel in an expressive style with bold and vibrant colors. Animals are one of her favorite subjects and inquiries for pet portraits are welcomed. She has recently began the study of form through sculpting.

Her work has been exhibited in many national and international exhibitions and has won numerous awards, and can be found in private and public collections throughout the United States .
Recent exhibits are Watercolor Houston International Show, Southwestern Watercolor Society Membership Show and three of her paintings were accepted in the Wyoming Watercolor Society National Exhibition.

Judy’s art training comes through classic venue of apprenticeship with William Herring and private studies with Kay Polk, Jo Taylor and a list of others through workshops and books.

She is currently represented by The Frame UP Gallery in Mt. Vernon, Texas.

Judy is a member of  Pastel Society of the Southwest, Southwestern Watercolor Society, Mt Pleasant Art Society, Outdoor Painters Society, and Portrait Society of America, National Sculpture Society, and Sculptors of Life, Texas.
Judy  teaches classes in her studio and workshops for artist groups.

I am pleased to announce that I have been selected as one of the featured artists in the new book Best of America Pastel Volume 1 by Kennedy Publishing.
